India Weather Update Cold Wave Likely Over North India In Next 5 Days Know Latest Detail


Weather Forecast: The torture of winter has increased in North India as well as in the country’s capital Delhi. It is freezing cold in the northern states. According to the Meteorological Department, the cold is expected to increase further. After some relief on the new year, the condition of cold wave has returned again on Tuesday (January 3). According to the India Meteorological Department, very dense fog is expected in North India for the next 4-5 days, along with which cold conditions are likely to continue throughout the day.

Apart from this, the condition of cold wave will continue in North India for the next 3 days and after that its intensity may decrease gradually. There may be a drop in the minimum temperature in many parts of Madhya Pradesh including North India. The minimum temperature in some parts of the state is between 2-6 degree Celsius. There will be very dense fog in many areas of Punjab. Apart from this, fog will also remain in different parts of Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Sheetlahar will continue till January 7
Dense fog will remain in Delhi as well. The minimum temperature in the state is expected to be around 8 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature around 17 degree Celsius on Wednesday (January 4). It rained in different areas of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya on Tuesday morning, due to which the cold has increased further. Due to this, the cold may increase further due to cold wave in some areas of Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh and northern parts till January 5-7.

There is likely to be no significant change in the minimum temperature over the rest of the country during the next 5 days. Dense fog may affect traffic at some airports, highways and railways in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, due to the low visibility, the drivers can also face problems on the roads. According to the Regional Meteorological Center New Delhi, cold wave may continue in Delhi from January 5 to January 8. During this, the minimum temperature can reach up to four degrees Celsius.
